It's Our Anniversary

EyeCU Reading & Social Network

This book club began with hope—a dream sparked by one passionate book lover, Ebony Evans, who envisioned a space where stories could bring people together. Fifteen years later, that spark has grown into something extraordinary.

Since our first gathering, EyeCU Reading has been more than a book club; it’s been a haven of sisterhood, a sanctuary where nine core members have navigated not only the pages of countless books but also the chapters of our lives. We've shared laughter, tears, triumphs, and challenges, proving that the bonds formed over a love of reading are truly unbreakable.

September 2025 marks our 15-year anniversary!

Fifteen years of storytelling. Fifteen years of friendship. Fifteen years of growth. As we reflect on this incredible journey, we are reminded of the power of community and the joy that comes from connecting with others through a shared love of literature.

To celebrate this glorious milestone, we invite readers, book lovers, and supporters to join us. This event is more than a celebration—it’s a testament to the magic that happens when books bring people together.

Here’s to 15 years of EyeCU Reading and to the stories and connections still to come. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!

Vision

To provide an avenue for women to congregate, with the primary focus on reading thought provoking books. To network with other book clubs, attend literary events and meet fascinating authors. To show our beauty and boldness in all that we do.
